For the next three years the Formula 2500 driver, Philippe Billette, can count on the sponsorship of the “Duclos Valleyfield Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram” dealer shown in the photo by the owner Louis-Philippe Duclos.

For 2018 The name “Airspeed” will no longer appear on the boat that is part of the Hydroplane Racing League. Make room for  “Team Duclos” F-7 that will be driven by Philippe Billette in the Formula 2500 class.

The Campivallensian (Valleyfield) driver entered into a three-year deal with “Duclos Valleyfield Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Dealer” to have the boat display new blue and white colors at the first event of the season in Cambridge, Maryland.

“I’ve always been passionate about anything that’s motorized, on the road or on the water. Philippe (Billette) is a good customer of ours and we have agreed to sponsor him, “said Louis-Philippe Duclos, owner of three Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealerships in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Sainte-Martine and Longueuil.

Aware of the importance of the Valleyfield Regatta and hydroplane racing in the community since he has been doing business with us,Mr. Duclos kindly supported the local racing team. “We are looking for financial support in the short, medium and long term,” he said at the MOPAR rally held at Delpha-Sauvé Park on Sunday, May 27th.

Philippe Billette a proud competitor who finished 2nd in the 2.5 liter class Championship in 2016 says he is delighted with this new partnership and he can not hide the fact that he has his sights on a category with bigger engines in a not too distant future.
