Marcel Descoteaux, a new driver from the Sorel-Tracy region, takes over the R-113 Another One

The HRL is pleased to announce the arrival of Marcel Descoteaux to the R-113 Another One team.

Originally from the Sorel-Tracy region, this young driver in his early twenties is officially embarking on this new chapter with passion and determination.

From a very young age, Marcel has lived and breathed racing, particularly snowmobile racing. For the past eight years, he has worked as a boat mechanic, a path that has allowed him to develop a strong understanding of the sport’s mechanics and realities.

His journey with Beaudoin Racing began alongside his father,who passed on his passion for racing. He later joined the team and quickly fell in love with the world of boat racing.

A first test session is scheduled in Sorel in the coming weeks in preparation for the event, as he continues working actively on the boat.

His goals for the 2026 season:
• Adapt to the behavior of the boat
• Learn to work effectively with the wing
• Fully understand race procedures

Marcel would also like to sincerely thank Michel Beaudoin, his friend Louis-Alexandre Beaudoin, as well as his father and mother for their support and trust.
