Dave Greenlaw and Alexandre de Roy return to HRL’s Jersey Speed Skiff Class with Veri Cheri JSS-99

The HRL community is thrilled to announce the return of Dave Greenlaw and Alexandre de Roy to the Jersey Speed Skiff class, driving the Veri Cheri JSS-99. Dave Greenlaw, hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Alexandre de Roy, a resident of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, have reunited to bring excitement back to the races.

Their partnership began six years ago when Dave arrived in Cambridge in need of a rider. It was then that Alexandre joined him, forming a dynamic duo that has since become a fixture in the HRL series. Not only has Alexandre become an integral part of the team, but his parents and sister have also joined as essential crew members. Dave often says, “I didn’t just pick up a rider, but also a crew.”

Dave and Alexandre plan to compete in all the HRL Series events this season. Dave expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “I enjoy running with the HRL. We are putting on a show.” The duo had been absent from the series since the COVID-19 pandemic, but they have been hard at work on their boat over the past year. They are still waiting for a new engine to boost their power, facing challenges in obtaining parts despite ordering at the beginning of the year.

Looking ahead to the season, Dave is optimistic about their chances. He believes they can be competitive, especially when they have the opportunity to secure an inside lane. The HRL family warmly welcomes Dave and Alexandre back and wishes them a fantastic and successful season. Welcome back, Dave Greenlaw and Alexandre de Roy! We can’t wait to see Veri Cheri JSS-99 in action.
