Cents Less Racing Announces Replacement Driver for S-50 at Brockville Regatta

Cents Less Racing is thrilled to announce that Ayden Sovie will be stepping into the driver’s seat of the S-50 hydroplane for the upcoming Brockville Regatta on July 1st and 2nd. Ayden will be taking over the helm while Kenneth Brodie III is away attending his Junior Hockey main camp.

Ayden J. Sovie, born on November 24, 2005, has been actively involved in racing since 2015, starting in the J stock classes. In 2019, Ayden was offered the opportunity to pilot the T-35 for the Thompson Brothers Racing family. During that year, he achieved remarkable success, securing 2nd place in National Highpoints and earning the title of East Coast Rookie of the Year. Notably, Ayden became the youngest individual ever to acquire an APBA Inboard license at the age of 13.

The Sovie family is widely recognized in the world of hydroplane racing, and the Hydroplane Racing League (HRL) extends their warm wishes to Ayden Sovie for an outstanding weekend of racing in the S-50. Cents Less Racing is confident that Ayden’s skills, determination, and passion for the sport will bring a new level of excitement to the Brockville Regatta.

“We are thrilled to have Ayden Sovie join us as the replacement driver for the S-50,” said Ken Brodie, spokesperson for Cents Less Racing. His impressive track record and dedication to the sport make him the perfect candidate to carry on the legacy of the S-50 during Kenneth Brodie III’s absence. We wish Ayden the best of luck and look forward to an exhilarating weekend of racing. »

The Brockville Regatta is an eagerly anticipated event on the hydroplane racing calendar, attracting enthusiasts and fans from all over. Spectators can expect a thrilling display of skill, speed, and camaraderie as the drivers compete for victory on the waters of Brockville.
