AYDEN SOVIE TO DRIVE S-50 IN 2025

CentsLess Racing is proud to announce that Ayden Sovie will pilot the S-50 CentsLess 15 for the 2025 season. The hull was previously driven by Kenneth Brodie III in 2024. Ayden and his father Joe have taken possession of the 2006 Henderson hydroplane and will run the program under the GP:50 and CentsLess Racing banners for team owner Don Less in the Hydroplane Racing League’s 2.5 Liter class.

Ayden Sovie will be a rookie in the HRL series in 2025. The third-generation racer from Ogdensburg, New York, previously drove the T-35 TM Special for Thompson Brothers Racing in 2019, winning APBA Rookie of the Year Honors at age 13. He served as the backup driver for the S-50 for the previous 2 seasons, running the boat at the 1000 Islands Regatta in 2023. Ayden is also an accomplished outboard racer in many stock and modified classes.

Team owner Don Less adds another boat to his fleet competing in the Hydroplane Racing League, adding another chapter to years of dedication to the sport. The CentsLess name is synonymous with hydroplane racing and its history, with over 15 boats bearing the moniker. He looks to lead the team to another successful season in 2025.
