How was your performance in 2018? What were your strong and weak points?
For the 2018 season I was a team member for the GP- 444 and I got the chance to live my dream in Tonawanda driving in a qualification heat on Saturday. I got some experience as a team member which is different from being the driver. I got to experience racing from a different perspective, it was an enjoyable experience. But I miss driving on a regular basis so that is why I will make a comeback in 2019.
Do you have any rituals just before the race?
I watch videos from the previous year and analyse the race course and the way the boat handles so I can always improve. And at the same time analyse my competitors so I can better compete against them.
What are your goals for the 2019 season?
In 2019 I will get acquainted with the boat and my new team members. Not to set the bar too high, I think finishing in the top five would be realistic. Of course I would like to win Valleyfield something that is missing from my portfolio in the world of hydroplanes.
