Biography

What are your goals for the 2026 season?

Finish in the top 5 and always be competitive and consistent.

What does the name and number of your boat mean?

I had to choose a number in the 700s when I was karting, and I picked 51 because of my favorite movie, Days of Thunder. My friends have always called me LALO—that’s my nickname. I’ve been racing for a long time, so that’s why I named our team Lalo Racing.

What made you want to become a hydroplane driver?

I’ve always been a racing fan. I’ve competed in karting, ATV, supermoto, and ice racing. I was born in Valleyfield, and regattas have always been part of my life. Adrenaline is my life. When I had the chance to have one, I jumped at the opportunity, and I’ve been at it since 2018.
