Biography
What does your boat’s name and/or number mean?
The name comes from the fact that in 1986, I bought the boat, which was already named L’Oiseau Bleu. I’ve always had the number 110: 10 for my birthday, but the number 10 was already taken, so I went with 110.

What made you want to become a hydroplane driver?
Ever since I was a child, my parents took me to the races. At age 19, I started racing on dirt tracks (stock cars). At age 25, in 1986, I started in the 145 class, then moved on to the 280, GNH, Unlimited Light, Hydro 350, and now I race in the Pro Hydro class.

What are your goals for the 2026 season?
First, the boat’s setup—and, of course, I’d especially like to win in Valleyfield.
