The Hydroplane Racing League
The Hydroplane Racing League was created in 2016 on what the Canadian Hydroplane Association (ACHA) had built over the years. Since 2011, the ACHA helped the sport grow by setting an efficient operational framework, implementing clear regulations and finding new racing sites.
The HRL is now focused on developing the hydroplane racing industry and taking the sport to another level by giving it a strong image.
The calendar presently includes 10 weekends of competition, spread from May to September, and attracts thousands of spectators to each event. From Detroit to Salaberry-de-Valleyfield and the Thousand Islands, each site stands out by the competitiveness of its racetracks.
The HRL is always on the lookout for new sites and passionate teams to promote this sport of precision and adrenaline.
