HRL Development Assistant
Regates de Valleyfield welcomes Lisa Dennebouy
(Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, February 27, 2018) Since February 1st, the Regates de Valleyfield can now count on a brand new specialized resource specifically dedicated to the development of the HRL (Hydroplane Racing League.)
In fact, as part of an internship program of a company run by the University Bordeaux-Montaigne in France, Lisa Dennebouy came to Regates de Valleyfield as an HRL Development Assistant for the next six months from February to the end of July 2018. She joins Anne-Marie Leboeuf, HRL coordinator, Michel Poirier, HRL Director of Operations, and Didier Séguin, Commissioner of the Hydroplane Racing League.
Lisa has completed her Master’s degree in “National and International Events Management”, and her involvement in the development of the HRL will allow her to document and prepare her thesis dissertation which is required for her Master’s degree at the end of the 2018 summer.
Lisa’s mandate will be primarily to produce a series of “instruction manuals” for HRL associated promoters in cities where HRL hydroplane races are presented during the summer season. The main topics under study will provide successful procedures for event management, especially to promote the sustainability of the various HRL promoters. All documents will be produced by the end of May, and follow-up measures will also be on the agenda.
In addition, Lisa will also participate in the 80th edition of the Régates de Valleyfield, in support of the Permanent Staff, with a contribution to the cultural and sport programming, and with accents on the professional presentation of the image, Drivers, and value experienced on the site of the event.
The members of the Board of Directors and the Permanent Staff of Regates de Valleyfield wish Lisa Dennebouy the most cordial welcome and success within the organization.
