Bertrand started in GP last year with the GP-48 Zero Gravity. Last season was somewhat disappointing for Bertrand and his team with several engines difficulties. Now that the restrictions are over and changes have been made to the engine, the driver who finished 10th last year is ready to push the machine for 2017.
For Bertrand, and most of the drivers in GP, competing in this class wouldn’t be possible without the many sponsors. For him, it is really important to show them the greatest respect and therefore after each day of racing, he communicates with the majority of them to give them news.
Before a race, the GP-48 driver likes to withdraw alone to visualize, think about his strategy, listen to 2-3 songs and then see all the team before jumping on the dock and getting in his boat to be ready to fight on the water.
For 2017, Bertrand and his team rely on reliability. Now that the team has more experience, they’d like to complete all the races and finish in the top 6 in the championship in addition to make at least one podium through the season.
